Up at 4am. On the road by 4:30am. Got home about an hour ago. It’s good to be home, but I miss the shoreline already and holy hell is that a long drive for one day.

That is a long day. Our record, with the whole family, is 16 hours from Crossville, TN to Austin. We were going to stop in Little Rock, but it was only 5 more hours, so we said screw it, let’s get home. I haven’t been to OBX in a lot of years, and I miss it too.

Im thinking about doing 80% of that trek to see skynard first week of july.
Unfortunately i have two passengers and a total of two tickets at my disposal
